Senior Stylist

The Role 

We’re looking for a creative and confident stylist with at least 3 years of experience behind the chair. You’ll be working in a beautiful space with a small, close-knit team and the opportunity to help shape the salon’s culture from the ground up.

Whether you're employed part-time or prefer a self-employed model, we offer flexibility, support, and room to grow your column in a town full of opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments

• Provide thorough consultations and personalised advice to clients

• Help maintain a high-end salon experience for every guest

• Support in the smooth running of the salon – including opening/closing, cleanliness, and team support

• Promote salon services and contribute to growing your column through great service and local marketing

• Mentor and support junior team members, including our apprentice

• Contribute ideas to develop the salon’s presence, including events, promotions, and local engagement

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a salon environment

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Hairdressing

• Confident in all aspects of cutting, colouring and client care

• Strong communication and people skills

• Passion for delivering exceptional service and creating lasting client relationships

• Able to work independently and as part of a small team

Hours and Availability:

• Part-time role (24 hours per week)

• Must be available to work Thursday late nights, Fridays and every other Saturday
